Raise The Roof

Raise The Roof

Friday November 8th I setup the photo booth at South Side Steak House in Rutland Vermont to help raise money for the Housing Trust of Rutland County. This is the second year that I was asked to photograph the event, however this year I brought the photo booth for an added bit of fun. Everyone loved taking photographs with their best 80’s outfits! Everything from leg warmers, animal print pants, big hair and leather jackets. This event was a blast with a karaoke contest built in, cash prizes and delicious food provided with the ticket price.

When you’ve learned how to work the camera.

So if you’re wondering whether or not you should attend this event next year, I’m going to have to say that you’ll need to buy your tickets early because it does sell out. Let’s put it this way, you’ll have more fun than any other Friday night in November in Rutland. Below you can read about the The Housing Trust of Rutland County.

The Housing Trust of Rutland County

provides housing that is affordable to residents of Rutland County, Vermont so they can choose to stay, play, live, work, and retire here. We offer affordable rentals (subsidized, senior housing, reduced rents) and mobile home lots in several communities within the greater Rutland Region.

The Housing Trust is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that develops and manages rental housing using the community land trust (perpetual affordability) model under the leadership of a local board of directors. A highly trained, professional staff is based in Downtown Rutland and provides full service property management and maintenance including 24/7 emergency response.

The Housing Trust is very much a grass roots organization, providing much of its outstanding service through partnerships with local businesses, proudly paying its property taxes and other municipal charges, and responding to neighborhood concerns and community needs.

We make a custom template for every event that we do.
